Hi I'm, Sam, a photographer and cinematographer based in Madison, WI.

In 2019, I quit my full-time job to become a freelance photographer and cinematographer. I picked up my first camera in 2015 and taught myself as much as possible about photography and videography. I didn't go to film school, but instead flooded myself with YouTube tutorials, practiced every day, and surrounded myself with other creatives.

As I've grown my social media following, I hear from so many people asking "how can I get better at photography" or "how can I make videos for a living?" I always try to answer, but it's hard to fit everything into a couple of Instagram messages.

That's why I started this Patreon channel. To help educate people on everything photo, video, and social media. Picking up a camera changed my life and, ultimately, I want to help other creatives. People who are in the same shoes I was in back in 2015.
